Anxiety and its different states!

IAnxiety is defined as the human body’s natural reception of stress. It might be a feeling of fear or thought of what’s due to come. People tend to be anxious on their first day of school or while going for a job interview or meeting new people or delivering a speech in public. Anxiety can be unpleasant, though, but it is normal if it comes and goes. However, if the feelings of anxiety extend to extreme lengths, last longer, and start interfering with daily activities, then a person might have an anxiety disorder.

When suffering from an anxiety disorder, the feeling of fear overpowers the sufferer all the time and stops him from doing normal activities. The condition gets worst if not treated on time. Here are a few states/disorders that stem their roots from anxiety;

Phobia

Headache is a common disorder. It is caused by; fatigue, hormonal factors, Depression is the most common and widespread mental disorder. As per the research, around 264 million people in the world suffer from depression. Women are more at risk of developing this illness as compared to men. The symptoms of depression are sadness, loss of appetite, tiredness, and low attentiveness. The most effective cure for depression is talking therapy. Antidepressants are also to cure moderate to severe depression.

Diarrhea

Phobia is a feeling of excessive fear related to a certain activity, situation, or object.

Social Anxiety disorder

If a person fears being humiliated or criticized by the people around him for his everyday actions or in social situations, he suffers from a social anxiety disorder.

Panic disorder

The overwhelming and intense feeling of anxiety paired with physical symptoms leads to panic disorder. The sufferer complaints about the shortness of breath, dizziness, excessive perspiration, and chest pain while experiencing panic disorder.

Separation anxiety disorder

When one impulsively fears about getting away from someone he loves or his home, he develops a separation anxiety disorder. It leads to the exhibition of possessive attitude paired with risen anger or impulsive behavior.

Obsessive-compulsive behavior

The sufferer experience recurring fallacious notions that make him perform some repeated specific behaviors.

Illness anxiety disorder

Also called hypochondria, it refers to the anxiety about the health condition.

Post-traumatic stress disorder

A person recovering from a certain traumatic event most likely develops this disorder.
